Manfred been in Sunday school for 2months now. There been 3weeks break during CNY and every single Sunday after mass he will asked if he is going to SS. I guess he been having lots of fun.
Manfred learnt to do sign of cross, he learned about the story of Garden of Eden, Noah’s ark, Jesus loves us etc. He learnt about serpent who tempted Adam and Eve to taste the forbidden food.
He is able to say grace before meal(we need to remind him; or vice versa) he can say short prayer and giving thanks for things he has.
Last week Jude joined in SS session upon approval from the teacher K, but later the PIC sounded us and mentioned Jude is too young and I need to be there to supervise. And said Jude doesn’t meet min age requirement of 5.
But later on Jude were allowed to join with condition one adult need to be inside to supervise. I would say I am quite proud of my boys. While majority of the kids is pretty well mannered, well behaved. There is some obviously I could see its quite handful. M&J followed instruction and they participate in everything teacher said, and they were eager to listen to the teacher and engage in the activity.
Even Jude that’s very active at home, seems to be behaving very good. I didnt even have to do much except stood there. There is total 11-12 kids, with 1teacher and another 2 youth member, whom kids called them kor kor there to help manage the kids and help them to participate.
PIC raised her concern that she doesn’t mind Jude to join but only concern about safety issue and was kind enough to allow us in the class. I guess I could gain LOTS as by then i would have better idea how I could make fun activities at home which related to catholic teaching.
Just few day back, we did coloring on Noah’s ark and I retell them the story, and ask them some question about what happen to Noah’s ark, why God wants Noah to build ark and how many days it rains and so on so forth.
And I even found this reading kit that hub bought 1year back but wasn’t put to use due to manfred wasn’t quite ready or interested in it…
Now who wouldn’t agree with me when I say:”God is great.”

Oh… yes! God is awesome, all the time!
It is great to know both of your boys are enjoying and also reaping the goodness of attending SS. :
Yes, God works in mysterious ways. Continue to put your faith in him
