Boba 3G

I learnt about baby wearing when I have Jude. He was clingy and wouldn’t settle in the car seat nor stroller until he was 1year plus. So that’s when I start baby wearing using pouch and ring sling. I still have both of my ring sling from Mamapatch.

So it’s no surprise that I baby wear Nate as well. With 3 kids it’s easier to baby wear instead of using stroller. But we still incorporate stroller as well. And I was surveying to get a soft structure carrier. It’s better as it can carry up to 20kg and up to toddlerhood. Best of all, it’s easier for hub to learn it compare ring sling.

I settle for boba 3G after a long research and reading and a trip to try it out with Nate.

It’s awesome to use when we go out for a long outing. Gives us free hand and Nate (8.1kg) feels almost weightless with the carrier. 20130213-103653.jpg20130213-103824.jpg

Yesterday hub baby wear Nate along when we bring the boys to go brisk walk all the way to the foot of saga hill.

Manfred and Jude walked 2.9km all by themselves. It was tiring for them, but they did it, and they came back continue to play with bicycle too.

Bear in mind we did not “jog” with Nate in carrier as its not advisable. The benefits it brings us was we get free hands handling the elder boys, and Nate was able to come along with us.

Fall asleep in the carrier… Despite all sweat and smelly!

Mamapatch cloth pad

I intended to share about the mamapatch cloth pad earlier. I got mine back in March and I tried it during April. Then my mensus didn’t come for 2 months which got me a shock and keep thinking I might be having no3.

But 2 pregnancy test kits and answer is negative. Maybe it’s due to my bfeedind so mensus haywire. I absolutely don’t mind hehehe

Back to cloth pad. Honestly, it’s extremly comfortable. At least more comfortable than wearing disposable one.
Reason 1- it’s not so thick.
Reason 2- it’s more airy.
Reason 3- it’s doesn’t itch after 4-5 hours, and it doesn’t leak. I use it during outing on my heavy flow day(2nd day). I was out for 6 hours and it lasted till I am home for my shower. No leakage, no itchiness.

Premium fleece vs cotton? Fleece is much softer and I would recommend fleece. But absorption wise I would say both did a great job. I usually change the CP becoz been wearing for 5hours instead of due to leakage or pad full..

Washing part?? I did like what chin nee recommend. Leave it on floor while I shower.. Then just hand wash it together with my inner laundry.

Hassle?? Not really since I hand wash my lingerie myself. And it’s more comfortable, economical, than disposable one. Yes I don’t mind to bring extra bag out to carry my soiled CP home.. 🙂

I am glad I found mamapatch

I have always been a person that love outing very much. I am out of the house every single day. Even when I became a mom with Manfred, I still go out whenever I can. Outing with Manfred was a pretty breeze though.. He accepts car seat, and he will sit still in stroller and gives me time to shop for groceries, clothes or anything I want.

So when Jude was born, I expected the same thing. Little that I know that all babies are unique. They all have very different personality, demand, and preferences. Jude has never want to sit in car seat during car ride, Put him in stroller and never fail to hear him wailing. I was so unhappy and I thought my outing on weekends no longer possible… I did not give up and I am glad that I found some blogger friends and some how it led me to Mamapatch.

With the ring sling, I can be out every week again! With a happy Jude in mamapatch ring sling, and happy Manfred in stroller! If possible, I would love to own more ring sling from mamapatch! Cause they look really good and I liking it so much!
If you are looking for a ring sling which is practical and beautiful, go check out!
